Food for Comics!!

As we approach the Holiday season one thing I love about November/December is the Charity events I get to do. This one is our 2nd annual! Jason Dube and I have been in Full Throttle to help not only spread the Holiday cheer but to also give back as much as we can first we start off with our Food For Comics Drive which will consist of collecting cans for the Senior Citizens services inc. Bring in two or more cans and we will knock off two dollars from a selection of our comic books at our tables.
For as many cans that are brought in Empires Comics will match that, how awesome are they! You can find me Jason Dube and Artist Melissa McCommon there Nov 10th from 11 to 4pm!
Bring in some cans and say Hello!
Jason Dube and I will also be back in December for our annual Toys for Tots drive so stay tuned for more information coming soon on that!

My thoughts on Days of Terror!!

I know it's been awhile since I have written anything here but i had to get some of my thoughts out of my head! The history is a year or two ago I was thinking of putting together a horror convention in San Francisco. Why? There was no con's going on in S.F and with the move of Wondercon all of a sudden now there's really nothing out here. (PLEASE come back Wondercon)
I only told a few select people in passing that I was thinking about doing it but it was never a guarantee since I was born and raised in S.F I know it's expensive out here. My crew and I looked around at places and found everything to be extremely out of our league. So of course I put it on the back burner. Well cut to a year later I sat down with Sac Horror Sci-Fi show manager only to be asked if I would take over and re-vamp the show. I loved the idea and so did my crew. I couldn't say no, because on my list of things to do before I die is to throw a horror con and a comic book con. I said yes and from there it's been a roller coaster ride of not sleeping, stress, crying, and of course wondering if I am good enough. I have even stopped to think for a moment if I was doing or making the right decisions. You know what, I believe that I have been doing a great job and my crew has been working hard to bring everyone a great show. I am not afraid of failing anymore, I am doing the best that I can and will always do the best and give all of myself in all of my projects 100%!!

We have a great line up for the show with Eileen Dietz, Lynn Lowry, Amy Steel, April Burril, JimmyO Burril, Ari Lehman, Kaci Hansen, Dave Reda, Michelle Tomlinson and so much more. Along with a Zombie Walk, Costume Contest, Make up Demonstrations and films. TeamLoveHate will be in the parking lot with there latest shadow Hunters cars for Jason Dube, The Sacramento Ghostbusters will be collecting costumes for the costumes for kids drive. Also the first 50 people in line will receive a limited edition 11x17 poster for the show drawn by our very own Jason Dube!!

I want to bring Sacramento two days of Horrific fun and I know that this show is going to be a success! Thanks to you the fans who go to these con's and help keep the love of horror alive!

Thank you to all of my Guests, Vendors, Press, and Volunteers who are going to help make this show a one of a kind!!

Creepy Kofy MovieTime

I am on a show called creepy Kofy Movie time in which I have my own segment called "Web of Insanity" where I show and promote independent Horror films 3 minutes and under. i love working on this show because everyone on it both cast and crew are awesome to work with and we all get along great.

I have been on the show for more then three seasons, I can't even remember but we did just wrap the 666th season so I am very excited about that and cannot wait to go back and start season 7. Until them though I thought why not do a cool Creepy Kofy Movietime comic book. So I did and it will be coming out very soon, with all the characters of the show you love. Also my very own beautiful big sister Scream Queen Brooke Lewis will also be int he comic playing The Devil, and she makes a sexy Devil too. Of course Balrok and No Name find themselves stuck in the very movies they show but will they ever get out, you'll have to get a copy when it's released. When? Soon, I don't' have an exact date but soon.
Creepy Kofy is a show that I hope will keep on going as long as the fans will take us.

Thank you to Balrok and No name, cave girls, Annie, Dice, Slob, Science guy and everyone who makes me laugh and smile and always feel welcome. You are my wonderful and dysfunctional FAMILY!!

I hope you will all enjoy the comic when it comes out, there will be signings at conventions, comic shops and special events.

THE WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE!! FRIGHT NIGHTS!!!

Last Doorway Productions had the pleasure of going to Fright Nights at The Winchester Mystery House! First off I would like to thank the employees and managers for having us and we were very well treated, everyone was so polite and helpful and the food was fantastic. Thank You!!

First we went through the house on a tour about the history of Sarah Winchester, why she built the house, who she was and what strange occurrences happen there. The tour guide who I cannot remember her name but she did say she was scared of the dark did a great job telling the stories and telling us about strange things that happen in each room. SCARY!!

As we were going through the house I couldn’t help but too look at everything, I was curious and wanted to see everything I could. Then we reached the bedroom of Sarah Winchester, everything was going fine until we all left the room, as everyone was walking I was the last at the end of the line, I heard a noise in the room, now it was pitch dark and I don’t know why I didn’t turn on my flashlight but when I turned around towards the noise I felt a cold breeze, ice cold and I heard a voice whispering but couldn’t make out what it was saying. I just kept on walking but for the rest of the tour I was getting either extremely cold or extremely hot, almost like I had a fever. I felt fine once I left the house.
Now for those who know me know that I have always had a sixth sense so I was a little hesitant going through with the tour but glad I did. I may have felt and heard things but nothing was threatening towards me so that is good. The tour guide did great, everyone had a good time and at the end we got to keep our flashlights which were a nice treat.
Next I couldn’t wait to go through the maze; everyone was a chicken so I went first and led the way for my production group. It was scary and amazing, the set up, the monsters, the creepiness to it, I was in heaven and it gave me an opportunity to scream at the top of my lungs at times. My crew was funny holding each other and saying “Oh Shoot” every five seconds.
The maze was a bit long which you would find to be a good thing because I did not want it to end and neither will you. As we walked out we ended up back at the gardens where the DJ was playing Michael Jackson’s Thriller, I really wanted to go out there and start dancing, and I should of!

We then went into the press room where we had an all you can eat good time and chatted with fellow press. We then thanked them for having us and received Winchester Mystery House goodie bags full of candy, what a yummy treat and we also got some pictures printed out of our good time we had there.

I must say The Winchester Mystery House Fright Nights is one thing to put on your list of things to do for the month of October, this is a must be at!!!

Again thank you to everyone at The Winchester Mystery House for giving us a great, fun and scary night!!

Channel KCMC 28 Saturdays at 9pm

I have been hosting and producing The last Doorway Show for about 4 1/2 years now and thought I would only have it on the internet. An internet show is cool, internet is the future anyway. Until I was approached to put my show on channel KCMC 28 which reaches out in Hayward, Fremont, Union City, San Leandro, San Lorenzo and Alameda. When the show aired a couple of weeks back on Television i felt so proud like i finally accomplished something on my list of things to do before i die! Now I am addicted, addicted to have my shows on any channel I can get now.

The show has always been and will always be dedicated to the independent horror artist. I have interviewed over a hundred celebrities and counting, I have helped film makers, bands, and horror artists get there name out there more. It's what i love to do, help out my fellow horror friends.

We will be approaching our 100th episode soon and cannot wait to celebrate something that means so much to me and what I really want is for the show to grow and too meet more artists and help them reach out to anyone they can about there work!

Thank you to the fans and guests I have had on my show through the years and a special thanks to my crew for working there butt's off at every convention, every film set, and every event. Thank You to John Gillette, producer and editor for putting so much of himself in the show and spending all those long hours editing. I love you!!

CREEPY KOFY MOVIETIME SHOW!!

I must say I had a blast at the Creepy Kofy MovieTime show. Put on by the hot T-Shirt company November Fire. It was great to see all of my friends and meet all of our fans who watch the show. For those of you who don't know I have a segment on the show called Web of Insanity. I show three minute and under Horror Films by local independent film makers. I'm all about promoting the independent horror artist.

I had a great time with Lord Blood Rah, Blarok, The Cave Girls, Slob, John Stanley and my good friend Oscar. We all had a blast and couldn't be happier with the turn out of the fans. yes the fans who have been so supportive of the show and had a great time watching us all do our thing. we cannot wait to do another one!

I had the pleasure of meeting a bunch of my fans who loved to talk about the short films I show, which ones are they're favorite and what they can expect for the next season. Let's just say you will be seeing more awesome films by local film makers.

It was so much fun at the end of the show being on stage with Balrok, Lord Blood rah, Slob and doing the raffle. An awesome fan was delighted to win the Balrok, No name night light! It was so cool looking too!!

I also sold an 11x17 poster cover for the new Creepy Kofy Comic Book coming out soon through Comic Book Divas, Story by Miss Misery, Scripted by Jeff Hughes! The cast of the show was so happy to get they're posters and cannot wait for the comic book to come out!!

I want to thank everyone who came out and supported, the fans and the crew from Creepy Kofy! The show was a blast and a success and I cannot wait for the next one. Thank you EVERYONE!!!
